Manchester, NH, Feb. 7, 2022 – George Kassas, a catalyst for cable telecommunications innovation and growth for more than three decades, has been named to the Board of Directors of Nrby, Inc., the Manchester–based leader in dynamic location intelligence for service provider operations announced today.
Kassas, an entrepreneur and a strategic advisor to cable operators and vendors in the North American and CALA markets, will further accelerate Nrby’s growth and scaling of its business internationally, including product and deployment vision and creation of a strategic ecosystem of partners and market makers for the company’s location intelligence platform.
Nrby is transforming technical operations, maintenance organizations, and customer service teams from being reactive to proactive, driving recurring revenue, realizing organizational efficiency, decreasing operating costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.

As Founder and CEO of Bireme Systems, Kassas has served as an advisor or consultant to Grupo TVCable in Ecuador, the TEPAL consortium in Latin America, OpenVault and other organizations. He was a Founder and COO of Cedar Point Communications, a pioneer in integrated voice–over–cable products, and was a product, market and business management executive with AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies. Kassas also directed the Entrepreneurship Center and was a professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Massachusetts.
